Data Protection – GDPR
On the 25th May 2018 the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) came into effect. This included a number of new requirements that schools have to adhere to with regards to how they use pupil and parent data.
GDPR is a law relating to data protection and regulates how organisations and individuals within the organisation obtain, store and remove personal data.
Misson Primary School is committed to ensuring that all personal information is secure. We take data security very seriously and are fully compliant with the regulations.
Under GDPR law Misson Primary School has to appoint a GDPR Data Controller.
