Hindu and Sikh Festival of Diwali
Our year 1 and 2 children took their RE lesson into our outside classroom, learning about Hindu and Sikh festival of Diwali. They created Rangoli patterns.
In EYFS the children have been learning about Rama and Sitaand the demon King Ravana with 20 arms and 10 heads.This is our impression of him. They also made Diya lamps to guide Rama and Sita home and to understand that good (light) always wins over evil (dark)
